Landmark Anniversary for Westside Store

Nov 03, 2013 02:01PM

The Georgetown Market will mark its 40th Anniversary with a special gluten-free day on November 8 and a celebration on November 9. The family-owned Indianapolis business, whose goal is to help you “Eat Better, Live Well and Feel Your Best,” has built a loyal and appreciative following as a local landmark in the health and wellness community.

“When you walk in, you’ll know instantly that you’ve entered a different kind of store,” states owner Rick Montieth. From fresh, organic produce and delicious deli items to please both vegans and meat eaters to special store-hosted events and its knowledgeable Natural Living staff to answer health questions, there’s something for everyone.

Adding to the anniversary celebration, Georgetown Market is proud to spotlight many local products. “We are excited to introduce rasa, a new locally owned line of fresh, 100 percent raw, cold-pressed juices and nut milks,” says Montieth. Rasa offers bottled juices and cleanses, made with using only organic produce and quality local produce grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides and other dangerous chemicals.

“Cold-pressed juice bypasses digestion and provides the highest amount of nutrients directly to the cells and organs through the body to heal and expend energy where it is needed most,” adds Montieth. Juice cleanse is also available, Tuesdays through Fridays, with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. Juices are available in 16-ounce BPAfree and PETE1 bottles.

Location: 4375 Georgetown Rd. Open seven days a week. For more information, call 317-293-9525, email [email protected] or visit GeorgetownMarket.com.
