All-Day Yogathon to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Treatment
The I.W.I.N. Foundation is hosting its second annual outdoor Yogathon event to raise funds for Indiana women as they undergo breast cancer treatment. The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on September 19 at Marian University, in Indianapolis, and is open to all experience levels.
Attendees will enjoy yoga outside in a peaceful setting and experience six yoga instructors representing several Indianapolis-area yoga centers. Class topics will include a range from traditional yoga to yoga with a twist. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. with the first 25-minute class starting promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Yoga is just one of the many services I.W.I.N. offers to support the women in the Indianapolis community receiving breast cancer treatment. It also provides assistance in arranging for gas and transportation, which is especially popular in rural areas; meals and groceries; childcare; lawn maintenance; and massage.
I.W.I.N. Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports women statewide currently receiving treatment for breast cancer by securing and paying for individual services that relieve emotional, physical and financial burdens.
