Tom Wood Subaru Shares the Holiday Season Love
Tom Wood Subaru got into the holiday season giving spirit early on America Recycles Day on November 14 when they partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) to plant 88 trees at Bertha Ross Park, bringing the total they have provided to the organization to 97 trees. Now, the local dealership is maintaining this spirit with several more special events and opportunities in support of nonprofits.
During Subaru’s Share the Love Event, a holiday-centric special campaign going on now through the end of the year, every customer that purchases a new Subaru from Tom Wood’s local dealership can direct Subaru to donate $250 to either the Humane Society of Indianapolis, ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America or the National Park Foundation.
Through December 16, Tom Wood Subaru is also conducting their second annual Toys for Tots drive that encourages everyone to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to a needy child. During the Recycle Your Old Christmas Lights event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 5, the public can do two worthy activities—bring in old, used holiday lights and donate a toy. Santa’s elves will be handing out special treats and there’ll be a mailbox for children to send letters to Santa. Christmas lights will be accepted through the first week of January.
Subaru partners with many various nonprofit education, health, community, environment and animal organizations with worldwide impact. Over the past 20 years, Subaru of America has donated over $50 million to causes and logged over 28,000 volunteer hours.
