Children’s Museum Offers Adult’s Museum by Moonlight
The Children’s Museum will be closed to kids for a one-night, adult’s-only Museum by Moonlight event from 8 p.m. to midnight on February 27. Adults 21 and over will have access to the museum on their terms, while sipping on Sun King Beer, enjoying meals from local restaurant vendors, and watching museum entertainment and shows.
Attendees will explore five floors of museum exhibitions, including Dinosphere, Treasures of the Earth and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as slide down the new Chocolate Slide, a Willy Wonka-inspired activity.
Museum by Moonlight is one of the museum's biggest fundraisers of the year. Proceeds benefit The Children's Museum Fund, which provides reduced or free admission to lower income families so all children may experience the learning and wonder of the facility.
Admission: $75 in advance, $85 at door, members get $5 off. Tickets are available for purchase online. Location: 3000 North Meridian St., Indianapolis. For more information, call 317-334-4000 or visit ChildrensMuseum.org.
