Letter from Publisher

Dear Readers,

As I write this letter on the very first day of fall in 2020, I can’t help but think about how quickly time seems to be passing us by. It’s my favorite time of year; there are bonfires, pumpkins, sweaters and jackets, chili and football— then Halloween will be here, then the holiday season, then the new year, and then, and then, and then— sigh.

But does time really fly by? Or is that an illusion? What if the way we spend our time is responsible for that illusion? What if we CHOSE differently? What if we said “no” to the things, people, habits, and situations that do not light us up? The ones that, when we look deep inside, make us say “meh?” Or, conversely, take us away from the people and situations who DO light us up inside?

Our intent is always to provide inspiration to light ourselves up from within, and the October issue contains lots of juicy material to do just that. Laura Baker’s “Returning Home to Self: Connecting to Source Energy” is a wonderful place to start. Wendell Fowler has solutions for when we are “Strazzled,” and in celebration of National Chiropractic Health Month, we offer plenty of healthy solutions for the physical body. From healthy breakfast recipes to solutions for de-stressing, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy!
